Open a PSD with the right tool

Photopea documents PSD opening and saving in a browser. PhotoCraft provides a separate desktop option. This page directs you to those tools; it does not receive your files.

View a PSD in a browser

Open the official Photopea site, then use its File → Open workflow to select a copy of your document. Its website describes ordinary file editing as local processing.

The provider’s own terms and behavior apply after you leave this directory. Optional online or AI services may have a different data path, so check that feature before using sensitive files.

What to inspect after opening

Check the canvas, text, layer order, masks and visible effects. A missing font or unsupported feature can change the result without making the file fail to open.

If you only need a preview, export a flat copy separately. Keep the original PSD for anyone who needs the layers. Do not overwrite it just to get a smaller image.

When a desktop editor makes more sense

A large project or repeated editing may be easier in a desktop workflow. PhotoCraft’s official page lists layered PSD and PSB support, but its early-alpha status means compatibility deserves a representative test.

This directory has not opened sample PSD files in either editor. Format support descriptions come from the official projects.

Questions, answered

Can I upload my PSD here?

No. ArtCraft Tools has no file upload or PSD processing service.

Does opening a PSD guarantee all layers match Photoshop?

No. Check fonts, masks, effects and output against the original.

Can I use PhotoCraft instead?

Its official page lists PSD and PSB support. Use its official download and test a copy first.
